We store personal data in trusted data centres that are ISO 27001 certified, meaning they meet industry best-practices for information security. Data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy and any applicable laws.

How do we secure personal data?

To prevent unauthorised access, use, destruction, or disclosure of data, we only use trusted password-protected and encrypted services. We protect data against accidental loss by performing regular backups where necessary. Only authorised Digital Animal personnel have access to these services.

How long do we keep your personal data for?

We keep personal data only for as long as is required for the purposes of providing our services to interested parties. Once data is no longer relevant for these purposes - or on request from the data owner - data is permanently deleted.

Your rights in relation to personal data

Data subjects have the right to control their personal data. On request, and after verification of your identity, we will share with you the information we have stored that relates only to you. You have the right to have this data corrected and/or deleted, which we will do without question. We will not fulfill a data subject’s request if fulfilling that request may expose the personal data of another person, or would involve deleting or altering data that we are required to keep by law.

Use of automated decision-making and profiling

We may use some limited profiling in order to target our advertising to relevant groups. This logic is in accordance with typical modern digital advertising procedures, and for example includes targeting specific ages, professions, geographical areas and other basic parameters.
